KS2 Make Magic with Music!

Primary ended the term on a real high as they were treated to a magical music experience from Mr. Kent and the KS2 Music Competition 2021.

13 of our finest singers and mucisians took part in the competition which included drumming, piano, singing and even a violin solo written especially for the Competition.

Primary school watched online and cheers could be heard all across campus as students lent their support for friends and fellows. After 13 fantastic performances, it was time for Primary to vote.

With all the votes cast, it was left to Mr. Kent to announce the winners....

In third place, was Angelika in Year 4B for her marvellous playing and singing of 'Yesterday' by John Lennon.

Tied for second place was the wonderful violin solo by Alice in Year 6H - written specially for this performance - and William in Year 5T with his version of 'Don't stay awake' by Powfu.

Finally - with a drum roll from Carlo please - we are delighted to announce Maria Sophia, also in Year 5T, for her beautiful singing of 'At Last' by Etta James. She gave many of us chills!

However, it is not just our top four acts that deserve the limelight. All 13 performers showed their talent, their musicality and their superstar potential - not to mention their bravery in entering in the first place.

Huge thank you to all our mucisians, singers and of course Mr. Kent for his organising of such a fantastic competition. We can't wait for more events like this next term.
