On Tuesday, a group of five Southlands students will travel to Milan with our Deputy Head of Senior School, Ms. Lain, to take part in an incredible competition!
Hosted by our sister schools ICS Milan International School and Bilingual European School, this year's Globeducate Academic Olympics is finally going to be in person after two and a half years of Covid disruption. The students, all aged between 13 and 14, will join their Globeducate peers to compete in the event and work in teams, with collaborative learning opportunities, using English as the common language.
What can we expect this year?
- 100+ students from 18 schools meeting in Milan
- Visits to Fondazione Prada and Fondazione Pirelli
- Scavenger Hunt in the city centre using coordinates
- Design activities
We look forward to hearing all about the amazing activities and new friendships that will be formed during the event!
