Parents and students are warmly invited to a University Fair hosted by Southlands on Friday 7th October, 4-6.30pm. The aim of university fairs is to help students clarify where and what they would like to study post-18 and give them an insight into university life. Taking the time to meet institutions - in person or virtually - are fundamental to students’ choice process and it can positively transform their motivation with regard to their school studies.

We welcome attendance of Years 9-11 students and parents. For Years 12 and 13, attendance is expected and parents are of course welcome too.

The following 14 universities will be in attendance, as well as the British Council, and some will offer a specialist workshop at specific times during the Fair relating to entry requirements:

Given the unique opportunity a University Fair represents, we have extended the invitation to the American Overseas School of Rome, Rome International School, and St. George’s British International School.

For the event, each university will have a presentation table in the secondary area which students and parents can visit to meet the university representative and receive information.
