At Southlands, we put every student firmly at the centre of our educational approach. At the heart of our mission statement is our caring and enthusiastic staff. Teachers, assistant teachers, administrators, secretarial and support staff combine to provide a high level of communication, care and expertise.
Many parents and visitors comment on the ‘family feel’ of the school. This well-rounded and caring approach to your child fosters their well-being and positive mental health. It is the children who create our wonderful ethos. A variety of residential and educational visits enrich the learning experience.
Our qualified School Nurses deliver elements of our PSHE curriculum (Personal, Social, Health, Education). We also have a school Doctor who regularly visits the school.
The school has a uniform policy that pupils are requested to comply with at all times. These items can conveniently be purchased within school premises.
